These companies know that you can't possibly pay back the full amount when it becomes due. That's why they make it so easy to renew with just the interest amount. They wait for several weeks to require you to pay back some of the principal with your interest because they can frequently have covered the entire loan amount by that time so all they collect from then on out is pure, escalating profit. They can provide a service but do your best to pay them back IN FULL promptly. Need a new computer but can't buy one with cash?
